ABOUT ME
Originally from the Tri Cities, I have always had a love for our area. Not just the scenery, but our people. I am blessed to get to know members of our community, through the work I get to do, each day. The relationships I have developed have been priceless. Being able to serve this area is one of the biggest blessings of being a stylist.
I began my career while in high school. After a last minute schedule change, I ended up in Cosmetology. It was a exciting career, that offered endless opportunities for growth and change, while being able to be of service to others. During this time, I worked for 2 different salons. This gave me the chance to train extensively in Redken, Paul Mitchell, and ISO.
After High School, I went on to obtain a degree in small business management. I continued to work in this field, eventually graduating to working for myself. During this time, I began working with Matrix as an educator, serving Northeast Tennessee, Southwest, VA, as well as NC. As much as I loved traveling and educating, I knew my heart was in client experience. This is my focus as a stylist.
I specialize in Natural, Dimensional, Color and Cutting. Through the use of various techniques, I work to create a look that will fit clients individual lifestyle, while looking natural and effortless. My inspiration focuses on celebrity looks. I help clients choose looks based on individual skin tone and face shape, to help enhance natural beauty. Easy style is my focus. Its incredibly important to me for clients to be able to style there hair, so for this reason, I work to educate clients about recreating looks at home. To ensure consistency, I keep digital diagrams and formulation records for each client. This helps to keep in mind the goal we are working toward, techniques for your hair type, and any other specific information. When coming to see me, you will receive a full initial consultation and evaluation to determine our goals going forward.
